July 2016 seen the first meeting called “The Gathering”. This meet started at the Sprucefield park and ride for a show and shine before hitting the road towards the final destination of Castlewellan forest park.

The route me and a few friends took on this was certainly what I would call interesting, very narrow roads that are just not designed for the hard suspension on a hot hatch. Even though we were getting rattled to pieces the views we had on the way were some of the best I’ve seen in Northern Ireland.

The weather was just outstanding, one of the best days of the year, and as always the standard of cars were second to none.

The Gathering part 2 sadly I did not attend due to the distances involved, but I will certainly return to another up this neck of the woods 🙂
